OKTOBERFEAST WAIVER

Assumption of Risks: I am fully aware that participating in an eating contest involves inherent risks, including but not limited to overeating, discomfort, choking, and other potential physical and psychological effects. I understand that the event involves the rapid consumption of food, which could lead to adverse health effects. I voluntarily choose to participate in this contest and assume all risks associated with my participation.
Release of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Eating Contest, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Rhein Haus Seattle, its owners, employees, sponsors, partners, and all associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether arising out of negligence or otherwise, for any injury, illness, or other harm that may be sustained by me as a result of my participation in the contest.
Medical Attention: I understand that Rhein Haus Seattle does not provide medical care during the event. In the event of injury, illness, or any other medical condition that may arise as a result of my participation, I authorize the event organizers to seek medical treatment on my behalf and I assume all costs associated with such treatment.
Photo and Video Release: I grant Rhein Haus Seattle and its affiliates the right to use any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the event that may include my likeness, for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.
Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read and fully understand this liability waiver, and I am voluntarily signing it. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights by signing this waiver and that I am doing so freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature.
